Clothing of the Ktunaxa
The clothing that the Ktunaxa wore was much like other First Nations groups in the same environment. The clothing that the First Nations people of the Plateau wore consisted of buckskin shirts, breech cloths, leggings, and moccasins for the men. The women wear the same kinds of clothing, except that they wear longer shirts.
Sometimes, robes made out of rabbit or groundhog fur were woven to make clothing that could be useful in the winter time, as when the weather turns very cold. Some of the garments they wore were decorated on the seam lines with red clay. If they did not use red clay, then they would use ornamental fringes.
